These two placer gold mines, in central Alaska represent the latest unparalleled, preeminant GOLD play on the market today. One mine is responsible for over 100,000 ounces of placer GOLD production and is still producing GOLD today. This mine has a lustrious history dating back to the early 1900's. Early placer mining was done using the dozer-dragline-sluice method. A dozer pushed GOLD bearing gravels to the head of a sluice box. Twelve men, six on each side shoveled the gravel through the sluice box. When the sluice box was loaded with GOLD to over-flowing, operations were stopped to clean out the sluice box. A dragline stacked the tailings onto tailing piles. Nuggets ranging to 16 ounces were found. It is estimated that about 7 million cubic yards of tailings remain containing $20 per cubic yard in residual GOLD. Nuggets are found in the tailing piles. Four hundred ounces of Nugget and fine GOLD was produced by a lessee in ten days. Some of that GOLD is seen in the attached images.

Based on the theory that the GOLD came from the surrounding high ground, the prior owner operated the mine for the last decade spending a majority of his time exploring the surrounding high ground for the Lode source of the GOLD. No evidence was found that the GOLD came from the surrounding high ground.

After having flown over the area, a visiting Geologist in 2010 presented a new theory that the GOLD deposit is on a Graben structure and that the GOLD entered through fractured shale fault zones in bedrock. The deposit model is further supported by interpretation of regional Airborne Geophysical data. This makes these two mines well defined, drill ready exploration targets.

The present owner has teamed up with his neighbor to create the ideal combination of mines and machines to get into GOLD production. The second mine is another placer GOLD producer and in all probability is hosted on a second parallel Graben system. The two properties and equipment are now offered in one package. The second mine is supported by a five star Bed and Breakfast with all amenities including a fully equipped machine shop and tools not often seen in the interior of Alaska.

The mining operation is currently permitted and fully operational. It includes recently refurbished placer mining equipment including a Cat D8N bulldozer with refurbished running gear, a huge Cat 375 excavator, 5x12 screen plant, 230 cubic yard Alaska Gold Fields trommel, 3000 gpm 175 HP 10x8 water pump, three 40 ft conveyors and more. A full list is available on request.

You can see it from outer space! The mining operation can be clearly seen from a high resolution Google Earth satellite image dated August 4, 2023. There is no shortage of water on both creeks. The natural Beaver habitat is home to an active beaver population upstream. The beavers provide a natural resource for water storage all summer long.

Multi-modal transportation service is available with one 3000 foot runway at the mine and a second 3500 foot runway providing scheduled air charter, freight and passenger service. The mine is connected by road to a barge landing on the Kuskokwim River giving access by barges to sea ports up and down the west coast.

The combined two properties totaling 1500 acres, mining camp, and equipment are offered for 7.5 million dollars with terms for qualified buyers.
