The Spring Gulch placer claims consist of 2 unpatented mining claims which total approximately 3 miles of Spring Gulch. They are located 10 miles from Dillon Montana at an elevation of 6500 ft and are accessible by gravel road.

The depth of the gravels vary from 8-10 ft and there is very little vegetation to be removed. The gold comes from several hard rock mines which are located at the top of the gulch.

The upper part of the gulch which is adjacent to theses claims was worked sometime around 2012 with a small trommel and excavator.

The previous operator stated that the pay gravel was running about $40/yard with many small nuggets being found on bedrock.
