The Santa Fe #2 consists of 14 Patented acres with surface and underground mineral rights. The property is located near Victorville on the Highway 395 and it's 40 miles north of Victorville in the town of Red Mountain.

The mine produced excellent values of 3 ounces of Gold per ton!

The mine site is currently designated as a super fund site because of the tailings piles on the surface which are estimated to contain 40,000 - 100,000 tons. These tailings can be removed and processed at a profit and then the super fund designation can be removed. Tailings piles on the surface have had the hi-grade ore removed and can be purchased for $25 per ton. They are expected to average a return $75 per ton.

The two compartment shaft goes down 900 feet and was in a vein of rich ore that was averaging 300 ounces of Silver and 3 ounces of Gold per ton according to the mine records.
