The Ruby Hills Mining Property consists of three 20 acre Patented Gold and Silver Mining claims in the beautiful Schell Creek Range near Ely, Nevada. A historic cabin and shafts are located on the claims. With outstanding views of Nevada and Utah this is also prime hunting land.

The claims are located on top of the mountain so the access is seasonal. The road leads to the base of the property but you must walk a short ways uphill to access the calims. An old road to the claims is now overgrown and would need to be improved and a new USFS permit would be required to improve the road.

No production records from the claims are available but it is known that the ore was carried from the mines by mule when last worked in 1905. In 1962 FMC drilled 12 holes about a mile south of the claims and found an average of 12 ounces of silver per ton with high silver assays of up to 90 opt. Gold values up to 21 opt were also found by FMC.

A drilling program would be required to prove up the gold and silver reserves on the Ruby Hill Mining Property but they are likely to be substantial. These 3 Patented mining claims have been in the family since the early 1950's and have never been worked with modern machinery.

The owners realize that the claims are quite valuable but they are not miners so they have decided to sell the claims. They are asking $150,000 for all three claims with $50,000 down and the balance spread over 2 years. Or they will discount the claims and sell for $100k cash.
