The Pinto Mines Group includes 4 twenty acre mining claims originally surveyed for minerals in the 1870's.

Two of the claims are Patented, the Rescue and the Western Globe, and all 4 of the claims in this claim group are adjoining.

The claims are located in the Pinto Mining District about 3 1/2 miles north of Hwy 50 at about 7300 feet in elevation.

Two of the mines on these claims are discussed in the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology Bulletin 85.

The mines produced high grade silver ore which also contained Gold, Copper, and Lead.

These claims include the principal mines of the district and thousands of tons of tailings remain.

One recent assay of the tailings showed 51 ounces per ton Silver and some smaller deposits assayed at $3,000 per ton.

The 2 Patented claims have been recently resurveyed and recorded and all documentation and taxes are current.

The owner wishes to sell all 4 claims in one package and is asking $380,000 USD.
