These two lode mines are located on one unpatented 20.66 acre mining claim in Lincoln County, Nevada. The mines were discovered in 1869 and were primarily silver producers but have copper, gold, and zinc values as well. The mines were closed because of WW2 and last worked about 70 years ago.

One of the mines appears to be intentionally sluffed in but the larger mine is gated and has a 155 foot adit with steel rail to a total depth of 165 feet.

With a little work this gate could be improved to provide a secure storage area for tools and equipment year 'round! There is about 300 yards of tailings remaining on site.

The mines are about 7300 feet in elevation and are about 10 miles to the nearest town. The last 4 miles of the road is dirt and a high clearance 4wd is recommended. Parking is available next to the mine. Cell phone reception is good. No fresh water is available.
