The Hitepit Mining Claim property consists of 21 unpatented mining claims in the Barstow Mining District of south eastern California about 140 miles NE of Los Angeles. The claims are 20 acres each and are in one continuous block. They are located about 2200' - 2500' in elevation and are administered by the BLM. A recent mining valuation report by a registered geologist states that the Hitepit property appears to contain a substantial mineralized ore body. Testing on the property indicated gold values of .01 opt - 2.92 opt gold and average gold value of .50 opt was used to prepare his report. His report estimates that there are 67,000,000 TONS of mineable ore with an in place gold value of $49 Billion! A $1450 per oz gold price was used in his calculations. Another (low side) estimate of 14.8 million ounces of gold would put the in ground gold reserve figure over $21 Billion. Either way there is no doubt that this could be a world class gold mine with many productive years of gold production. Mining costs here are estimated to be about $200 per ounce compared to and average mining cost in the Western U.S. of about $600 per ounce. The owner wishes to sell the entire claim block and he is flexible about the terms. Any sale would involve a Net Smelter Return Royalty of 6% - 10%, a substantial amount of money up front and a payout over time with a total sales price including royalty in the $1.5 Billion range. The owner will entertain all offers and you can contact him directly to discuss and get more information regarding the Hitepit Lode Claims #L1695.
