The Eagle Bird is an historic lode gold mine, consisting of 14 unpatented claims, totaling 250 acres. USFS Plan of Operations approved in 2015. The Eagle Bird was operated from the late 1800's until 1965 - one of the very last of these small gold mines still operational at a time when gold was still mandated to be sold at $35 per ounce. The mine is located in Sierra County, township of Downieville, CA, in the Allegheny Mining District. This is within the Melones Fault Zone, in the heart of what is called California’s "Northern Mother Lode" gold zone. Plan of Operations and Reclamation Plan in good standing with Sierra County, SMARA, and National Forest. Waste Discharge Requirements approved by Central Valley Water Control Board, And Notice Of Intent to commence operations is presently in progress. Historical reports document that the Eagle Bird Mine was known for consistent gold values of just over one ounce per ton, and there is at least one accessible vein in which you can test these values for yourself. A recent geological study discovered an intersection of at least 4 gold bearing veins, and our mining claims were expanded to fully encompass this location. Owners open to various options with regard to sale or JV partnership. Sale Price $2,500,000 and could finance with reasonable deposit. Joint Venture or NSR open for consideration. The Eagle Bird is fully permitted for both extraction and milling and could be operational within 90 days of project funding. Permits and Approvals sufficient to commence high grade mining on site. Operational pro-forma available for discussion. The Eagle Bird is located on a well-maintained forest service road, just 7 miles from a paved county road. Additional milling options within a day’s roundtrip drive in Nevada.
