An experienced American gold dredging operator needs $50k - $80k to begin mining in Sierra Leone. He has set up a corporation there with several partners who are from Sierra Leone. They have 3 properties to mine and have access to other good mining properties nearby. They have a Gold Export license and need to purchase dredges, equipment, and a storage container. Ideally the investor will be a hands on partner who is interested in mining himself. As a shareholder he can use their license to be an independent contractor. A 10% royalty on all production would have to be paid to the land owner Chief and another 10% royalty would have to be paid to the Sierra Leone Corporation to monitor and collect gold. A major international mining company has started dredging on the sewa river with an 8 inch dredge and estimates that they will recover 20 kilos of gold per month and test samples of the bedrock gravels averaged .55 carats of diamonds per yard and 1 to 7 grams of gold per yard.
